Ladies operating Android devices may appreciate the latest news from the Twitter blog about the Twitter for Android app getting a make-over. Last week we reported about Skype making a debut at the Android Market and now Twitter for Android has been upgraded. Seemingly, the Android Market has decided to hook the eve-clan to their devices for good.
Touted to be one of the top five Twitter applications, it will now feature Push notifications as a part of the new attributes. Initially, users received Twitter notifications only when they logged onto the website. The Push notification will inform gals about their friends’ comments and other updates even when they are not logged in.
Along with keeping users updated with happenings at all times, the Twitter for Android app will also help them to not miss anything when they are away. This feature will work irrespective of what the phone is being used for. All that has to be done to receive notifications is go to account settings, select ‘automatic refresh’ and activate receive direct messages and tweets.
Wouldn’t it be nice to log into multiple accounts through the single Android device? Well, the app has come out with solutions for that too. It will now be possible to log into more than one account at the same time. And if that’s not all, the app’s appearance will also be revamped along with features. The home screen will display even more widgets. Also, a few other improvements and bug fixes have been included.
